BSLI launches new plan

BHUBANESWAR: Birla Sun Life Insurance (BSLI) here launched its ‘Birla Sun Life Insurance-Gold Plus plan.’ The unit linked insurance plan offers convenience of paying for a limited period of three years with the flexibility to reduce premium from the second policy year without reduction in the sum assured, a senior company management team said here on Thursday.

Benefits

The key benefits of BSLI-Gold Plus Plan are shorter liability, flexibility to reduce premium, affordability, maximization of investments and tax benefits among others.

The entry age for the policy is 18-70 years and the minimum sum assured is five times the minimum annual premium, whereas the minimum premium is Rs. 10,000. “We are planning for aggressive expansion. Enhancing the product portfolio to meet specific market needs of various segments is an important driver of our strategy,” Vikram Mehmi, president and CEO, BSLI said .
