Would-be pirates held in cinema

CHENNAI: Six people, including two engineering students, were caught red-handed when they were recording on mobile phone cameras the Tamil movie ‘Sivaji’ on Friday in a theatre on Anna Salai.
Plainclothes men led by the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Triplicane) M. Ramasubramani detained Praveen (19), Navinkumar (20), Suman (21), Balaji (22) and others.
The police warned the students and let them off. A senior police officer said plainclothes police are monitoring people in theatres and warned offenders of action.
