HYDERABAD: U.S.-based HolograFX on Friday announced the launch of a new communications tool, 3D holographic advertising systems, with Hyderabad-based Icatch Communications India Limited as its exclusive channel partners. Eric Brown, CEO, HolograFX, said though there were variants to the communications medium, the company was using image funnel optics in which images appear to leap out, apparently from nowhere. "Consumers will stop, smile, reach out to touch the image and most importantly, remember the unique experience of seeing 3D images floating in mid-air", Mr. Brown said. The company's clients included Kelloggs, Pepsi, NASA, Adidas, Heineken and General Motors in the U.S. Sangeetha Gummi, Director-Marketing, Icatch, said, "We are working to go about with real-time demonstrations."
