CHENNAI: Southwest Monsoon has been active over Coastal Karnataka.

Rainfall occurred at most places over Kerala, Lakshadweep and coastal Karnataka and at a few places over Rayalaseema and south interior Karnataka. Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and north interior Karnataka.

FORECAST (valid until Monday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at most places over coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep and at a few places over interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Andhra Pradesh.

Heavy Rainfall Warning: Isolated heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur over coastal Karnataka and north Kerala during next 48 hours. Isolated heavy rain is also likely to occur over south Kerala, Lakshadweep and Ghat areas of south interior Karnataka during the same period.
