Judo
: Hyderabad will host the inaugural Asian youth and junior judo championships at the Swarnandhra Pradesh Indoor Stadium (Gachibowli) from November 3 to 8, according to Jagdish Tytler, MP and president of Judo Federation of India. Tytler informed the media here on Saturday that the Youth championship would be for boys and girls in the age group of 12 to 15 years and would be conducted under the aegis of Judo Union of Asia as per the rules of International Judo Federation. The JFI president said that competitions in seven weight categories from 42 kg to above 57 kg would be held for boys and for girls from 36 kg to 57 kg. The Asian junior championship would be for men and women (under-20 years).
