BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday directed Food Supply and Consumer Welfare Department to involve women self-help groups (SHGs) in public distribution system (PDS) in order to get better result. Holding a high-level review meeting at the State Secretariat, Mr. Patnaik said women SHG were working satisfactorily in their fields. He ordered the department to ensure that all beneficiaries got rice under Antodaya Anna Yojna and Annapurna Yojna. Chief Secretary Ajit Kumar Tripathy attended the meeting.
