Drop Shankaramurthy from Cabinet: samiti

Bangalore: The Tipu Sultan Horata Samiti has planned a demonstration in front of Town Hall here on Monday at 10.30 a.m. demanding the dismissal of Higher Education Minister, H.D. Shankaramurthy from the Cabinet.

Speaking to presspersons here on Saturday, Talkad Chikkarange Gowda of the samiti said that Mr. Shankaramurthy should be dropped for making defamatory remarks against Tipu Sultan. Political leaders, including the former chief ministers, N. Dharam Singh and S. Bangarappa, were expected to participate in the protest.
