CHENNAI: Class X students from the Matriculation and Anglo-Indian streams, who failed to apply for the special supplementary examinations, could obtain application forms between June 20 and 23. Completed forms need to be submitted by June 23, a Directorate of Government Examinations press release said on Sunday. Forms would be available at the Directorate of Government Examinations, DPI premises, Chennai, and the offices of respective Regional Deputy Directors of Government Examinations in Tirunelveli, Madurai, Coimbatore, Tiruchi, Cuddalore and Vellore. Students, who failed in one subject, would have to pay Rs.635 (Matriculation stream) and Rs.585 (Anglo-Indian stream). For two subjects, Rs.735 (Matriculation streams) and Rs.635 (Anglo-Indian stream) would have to be paid. Students who failed in three subjects would have to pay Rs.835 (Matriculation stream) and Rs.685 (Anglo-Indian stream). The demand draft drawn on a nationalised bank and in favour of ‘Director of Government Examinations’ has to be attached to the application form. Completed forms have to be submitted at the Directorate in person. Applications received through post or courier will not be accepted. The signatures of school heads will have to be obtained over the photographs, the release said.
