Agricultural university to offer consultancy services

Coimbatore: To promote professionalism in agriculture through agri-business, market-led-production and technology-driven techniques, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) is offering consultancy services in various areas of agriculture.
A university release said consultancy in landscaping, gardening, establishment and production of bio-control agents, establishment of bio-fertilizers production unit, setting up of tissue culture laboratories, land evaluation for agriculture, horticulture and forestry, precision farming system, etc., would be offered.
Candidates would also be taught to prepare bankable project reports for starting agri-business, mushroom production units, vermi-composting, etc.
Scientists of TNAU would offer the services, either individually or as a team, on cost basis.
Farmers, entrepreneurs, agro-industries, self-help groups, unemployed youth and farm graduates may utilise the opportunity.
