Two boys drown in tank

CHENNAI: Two boys, aged seven and eleven, drowned in a temple tank at Tiruvanmiyur late on Sunday night.

Police said Selvarajan of Besant Nagar had been to a relative’s wedding in Tiruvanmiyur with his family.

His two sons, Manoj Kumar (11) and Mahesh (7), who went with a few relatives to the tank nearby, went missing.

The police sent the bodies, which were found later, for post-mortem to the Government Royapettah Hospital.

Further investigation is on.
