Karachi: Pakistan will take part in a tri-series with India in Bangladesh in May next year, the PCB announced on Tuesday. The competition is part of a hectic schedule that Pakistan faces in the next 12 months during which it plays eight Tests against South Africa, India and Australia as well as about 35 one-day internationals. While South Africa tours Pakistan from September 26 to October 29 to play three Tests and five one-day internationals, Pakistan goes to India for a similar series from November 2 to December 13. Pakistan also hosts Zimbabwe for five one-dayers from January 21 to February 7 after which world champion Australia tours the country from March 10 to April 27. Pakistan is also due to host the Asia Cup in April 2008. The Afro-Asia Cup is also planned in Nairobi in June.— PTI
