Workshop for new legislators

Lucknow: A two-day workshop, aimed at familiarising the newly elected MLAs in the State with the rules and procedures of the Assembly, will be held here on June 25.

The workshop, to be inaugurated by Chief Minister Mayawati, would have sessions on Assembly etiquette, budget and legislative procedures, resolutions and motions and other aspects, Speaker Sukhdeo Rajbhar said here on Tuesday.

A large number of first time legislators have been elected to the 15th Vidhan Sabha,
