HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) has started creating a database of party leaders and cadre with a view to using their services in the next Assembly elections. The party’s Information Technology cell embarked on creating computerised database of the participants of the political training programme which commenced on June 17. The IT cell received the detailed information of each participant from their respective District Congress Committees. Based on the data received from the districts, the IT cell prepared laminated ID cards for all the 1,800 delegates, who are participating in the training programme. “We want to issue computerised ID cards to all the participants in future programmes,” Mr. Ramamurthy said adding that this information would come in handy for the party leaders. He said the present data base of trainees was important as the same batch had been directed to train party cadres in the districts.
