KARIMNAGAR: The district administration had decided to take up massive plantation of about 10.30 lakh saplings during this monsoon season in various parts of the district. At a meeting on social forestry here on Tuesday, Collector M V Satyanarayana said that they would take up plantation of about 1 lakh saplings in educational institutions, four lakh saplings in private lands and households, two lakh in forest lands such as vana samrakshana samithies. Another 80,000 would be planted in watershed areas.
