NELLORE: The Communist Party of India (Marxist) has called for a strike in Nellore on Wednesday to register their protest against the alleged police ‘excess’ on its party activists. Speaking to newsmen here on Tuesday, senior CPI (M) leaders -- Miriam Venkateswarlu, T. P. Bhanu Raju and Jakka Venkaiah -- said that the party would stage rasta rokos across the district.
