Man found with head smashed in

Chennai: A 28-year-old man was found dead under mysterious circumstances on Tuesday.
Police were informed that a body was lying in a locality in Puzhal, and a team was despatched to investigate. After inquiries, police identified the victim as K Seenu alias Srinivasan (28) of Kanappasamy Nagar, Kavangarai, Puzhal. Investigations revealed that the victim was last seen in the company of some friends at a bus stop near his residence on Monday.
Police said Seenu’s head was smashed in and there were some injuries on the body, which has been sent for post-mortem. It is suspected that he could have been done to death in revenge, as he was allegedly involved in the murder of Gajendran of the same locality last year.
Puzhal police have registered a case and are investigating.
