NEW DELHI: Starting the sealing drive on the directions of the Supreme Court-appointed Monitoring Committee, the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) staff targeted offices in Indraprakash Building on Barakhamba Road here on Tuesday. “We took support of the police to ensure that the whole exercise passes off peacefully. There were 114 cases of misuse reported in the building. We sealed 112 premises as two of the owners had filed affidavits during the notice period. All the violations were reported in the basement,” said a senior official. Officials have found that some residential properties have also flouted the rules.
