Last day for electoral rolls entry

HYDERABAD: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has received 36,682 claims for entry into photo electoral rolls from the 13 Assembly constituencies in the twin cities with just a day left for filing claims through Form six.

Additional Commissioner (Elections) G. Ravi Babu said that about 6,322 claims were received on Tuesday alone for inclusion into the voters’ lists and he expects the number to touch 40,000 by Wednesday.

There were 602 deletions with 222 applications received during the day, 4,801 applied for corrections with 707 received today and 528 for change of address with 123 received during the day.
