KOCHI: The Central Bank of UAE has given approval to Federal Bank to open a representative office in the UAE. Federal Bank will be the first Indian bank to establish a representative office in Abu Dhabi, an official release said. By establishing the office, the bank will be able to offer more personalised service to its customers in the UAE and various other countries in the region. The bank has remittance arrangements with 20 exchange houses and eight banks in West Asia.
