GUNTUR: Unidentified persons slit the throat of a woman at Potharalanka village in Kolluru mandal in Tenali Revenue Division on Tuesday afternoon. The woman was identified as B. Meramma. According to the police, the woman was washing clothes at a canal bund when three unidentified persons attacked her and slit her throat with a sharp edged weapon. The woman died on the spot. The police suspect the murder to be a fall-out of an extra marital relationship.
