Term of seven ASGs extended

New Delhi: The Centre has extended the office term of six Additional Solicitor Generals by two years. B. Dutta, K.P. Pathak, Mohan Parasaran, R. Mohan, Amarendra Sharan and Amarjit Singh appeared in the Supreme Court while P.P. Malhotra appeared in the Delhi High Court. They were initially appointed for a three-year period in 2004, which has now been extended till 2009.
