Former RJD MLA convicted

PATNA: A fast track court in Gaya on Wednesday convicted the former Rashtriya Janata Dal MLA, Rajendra Yadav, in a case of kidnapping two persons with an intent to murder during the February 2005 Assembly polls. It will spell out the quantum of sentence on Friday.

The kidnapped persons, Lal Bahadur Yadav and Mithilesh Paswan, are yet to be traced.

Mr. Rajendra Yadav’s wife Kunti Devi (RJD) represents the Atri Assembly constituency.
