Federer, Henin are top seeds; Paes-Damm pair seeded five

London: Defending champion Roger Federer of Switzerland and Justine Henin of Belgium have been seeded top in the men’s and women’s sections respectively as the All England Lawn Tennis Club released its list of seeds for all events for the Wimbledon 2007 championships here on Wednesday. The Championships will be held here from June 25.

French Open champion and last year’s runner-up Rafael Nadal is seeded second, ahead of Andy Roddick. World No. 4 Nikolay Davydenko is seeded sixth with Novak Djokovic and Fernando Gonzalez moving above him in the list.

India’s Leander Paes and Martin Damm (Czech) have been rated fifth in the doubles, while Mahesh Bhupathi and Radek Stepanek (Czech) are seeded 11th.
