CHANDIGARH: Haryana Chief Secretary Prem Prashant said on Wednesday that work to set up a nuclear power plant in the State would begin soon. Talking to media persons here, he said a special team of the Central Government had visited Haryana, selected a site and also conducted its inspection. He further disclosed that National Highway Authority Chairman Pradeep Kumar had okayed six-laning of National Highway No.1 from Ambala to Delhi and the contract would be allotted in the next two months. Even though ongoing construction of a fly-over near Murthal had been affected because of legal complications, it would be completed by 2008.
