NEW DELHI: Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Wednesday presented loan cheques worth Rs. 56 lakh to 12 people belonging to Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, minority communities and handicapped category at a function at Shah Auditorium here. Ms. Dikshit also allotted 197 work-sheds to SC aspirants through draw of lots. She said loan schemes have been simplified by her Government . Speaking on this occasion, Development Minister Raj Kumar Chauhan said the Government was committed to providing purposeful help and assistance to these communities.
