NLC to provide amenities in village

CUDDALORE: The Neyveli Lignite Corporation has undertaken to clean up streets and to set right the leaky water supply system in Mudanai panchayat. The NLC will meet the expenditure from its Rs 10-crore peripheral development funds, according to Rajendra Ratnoo, District Collector. He attended a Mass Contact Programme there recently. A sum of Rs.26 lakh had been earmarked for laying metallic and cement roads at Vriddhagirikuppam, Ambedkar and Adi Dravidar colonies in the village. P. Babu Rao, NLC Director (Personnel) and Asaithambi, panchayat president, participated.
