Syntel opens development centre in Chennai

CHENNAI: Syntel, a global information technology services and business process outsourcing company, has opened up its new software development facility at DLF SEZ IT Park in Nandambakkam, near Chennai. The facility will provide IT services to Syntel’s global health, banking and insurance clients. Syntel has invested around Rs. 8 crore in this new facility. The company is about to commence its construction of 29 acre SEZ facility in Siruseri IT Park over 9 lakh sq. ft. in the first phase involving an outlay of Rs. 235 crore, Keshav R. Murugesh, President and COO, said in a press release.
