Two HUJI militants arrested

Lucknow: Two terrorists of the Harkat-ul- Jihad Al Islam (HUJI) were arrested from two different places here on Thursday. The Special Task Force of Uttar Pradesh police recovered seven kg of RDX, five detonator wires three improvised watches with timer wires, batteries and remote switches from them. “Mohammad Yaqoob alias Shakir and Nasir alias Chotu are residents of Bijnore district of the State and were planning to carry out subversive activities here,” State police chief G.L. Sharma said. While Yaqoob was arrested from Charbagh area, Nasir was nabbed near a lodge in the Naka area.
