Novel protest by lawyers

The High Court premises witnessed a novel way of protest by lawyers. They gathered in front of the court with lighted candles to mark their protest against the “inaction of the High Court authorities” to take stern action against former Chittoor magistrate N.V. Raju who had ordered the arrest and detention of a High Court lawyer for the escape of an accused.

Lawyers also took out a procession with lighted candles.
