‘Sivaji’ conquers more areas

Staff Reporter

Bangalore: Fancy neon lights and branded junk food. Girls dressed in trendy clothes. LCD monitors informing you about the latest movie running. In the midst of all this, two smartly dressed men whisper, “Sivaji, Sivaji.”

Well, if you thought selling tickets in black is something that happens only in the “cinema halls of the masses,” think again. The ‘Sivaji’ craze is on in the multiplexes too and there are people taking advantage of this.

Recently at a multiplex, two men were seen selling tickets to the movie in black, scalping the latecomers. The same has been happening in other multiplexes too, where the fans with deep pockets may not think twice about parting with a goodly sum.
