Bangalore: Here is a bonus for loyal patrons of the annual Strand Book Festival. You do not have to wait till the end of the year, because a “mid-annual” festival has been arranged in response to popular demand from bibliophiles. Those who brave the rains will be rewarded with a large selection of books at generously discounted rates – from literature to management, self-help, history, philosophy, science, art, design, architecture, fitness, travel, cookery, crafts and children books.

The 10-day festival will be held from Friday in Basava Bhavan and will be open between 10 a.m. and 8.30 p.m.
