SRIKAKULAM: District Collector V.N. Vishnu has instructed the officials concerned to immediately initiate steps to send Telugu software to all revenue offices and mandal parishad offices to enable them to carry out all official transactions in Telugu. Speaking at a meeting of the reconstituted district-level Official Languages Committee at the Collectorate here on Wednesday evening, he said that nearly 80 per cent of all official communications were being carried out in Telugu and this should be improved. He patted the DPRO for carrying out 98 per cent of transactions in Telugu.
