Suspected naxalites identified

BANGALORE: Twenty-six suspected naxalites operating underground in the Malnad region have been identified and a dossier on 19 of them prepared, Additional Director-General of Police (Law and Order) Shankar M. Bidari told a press conference here.

Mr. Bidari said that some of the alleged naxalites identified were women. He also released a book detailing naxalite activities in the Malnad region, which also contained a list of five organisations and 35 people who have allegedly been aiding naxalite operations. — Staff Reporter
