ELURU: The Government is contemplating bringing in certain changes in the school syllabus, says C.B.S. Venkataramana, Secretary, Department of School Education. Addressing presspersons here on Thursday, he said the changes were likely to be effected in Science and Social subjects from 6th to 10th standards. The contents pertaining to moral sciences, preventive health, hygiene and HIV/AIDS would be incorporated in the textbooks as part of the endeavour to sensitise schoolchildren, Mr Venkataramana explained. The Government had constituted a working group to recommend the changes.
