Controller of Communication Accounts office upgraded

Chennai: The Office of the Controller of Communication Accounts, Tamil Nadu Circle, functioning under the Department of Telecommunications in the Union Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, was recently upgraded as the Principal Controller of Communication accounts and is headed by G. Alagarsamy.

The office is also moving to a new premises at R.K. Nagar Telephone Exchange on Friday. Telecom Commission Member (Finance) Manju Madhavan will inaugurate the new premises that would handle the licence fee collection from telecom operators, Universal Service Obligation fund disbursal and locate the cash and administration wings.
