Correction

In a report “Informed consent lacking in most female sterilisation cases: study” (Chennai city, June 20, 2007, page 2), Ms.Rajalakshmi, a fellow of the Health and Population Innovation Fellowship Programme of Population Council, clarifies that a sentence “In her interview with 712 women just before their discharge from hospital, she found that only one percent had been informed about sterilisation” should have been “In her interview with 712 women just before their discharge from hospital, she found that only one percent had been informed about failure rates of sterilisation.” — Readers’ Editor.
