Minister inaugurates rural business project

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister for Local Self Government Paloli Mohammed Kutty on Thursday exhorted local bodies to focus on the farm sector.

He was addressing a function got up at Kottukal near here to inaugurate the Samagra rural business hub project launched by the district panchayat in association with the Kudumbasree Mission. The Minister said Samagra signalled the beginning of a market-intervention programme by Kudumbasree.

Kudumbasree executive director Sarada Muraleedharan said the project would trigger a grassroots- level economic revolution in Kerala.
