CHENNAI: Yesterday’s deep depression moved west-north-west wards and weakened into a depression and lay centred at 0830 hours IST of 23rd close to Osmanabad. It is likely to move in a west-north-westerly direction and weaken gradually. Southwest monsoon has been vigorous over Andhra Pradesh and Kerala and Karnataka. Rainfall occurred at most places over Rayalaseema, Kerala, Laksahdweep and Karnataka, at many places over coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and at a few places over Tamil Nadu. FORECAST (valid until Monday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at most places over Karnataka, Telengana, Kerala and Lakshadweep, at many places over coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and at a few places over Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: No Significant change.
