M.P. Minister Sonkar dead

BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh Minister of State for Forest and Scheduled Castes Prakash Sonkar passed away on Saturday morning at Jhabua. He was 53.
His body was brought to Indore and cremated with full State honours.
Mr. Sonkar was elected to the Assembly from Sanver in Indore district in 1980, 1992 and 2003. He was inducted as a Minister in December 2005.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, his Cabinet colleagues Kailash Vijayvargiya and Raghavji and prominent citizens attended the funeral. Mr. Chauhan said that he was a dedicated party worker. “We have lost an admirable politician and a good social worker,” he said.
