PUDUCHERRY: K. Kanimozhi, a student of St.Patrick Matriculation Higher Secondary School, was conferred the “Yuva Kala Bharathi” award in drawing and general knowledge in competitions organised by Bharathi Yuva Kendra, Madurai, according to a press release here from the school.
J. John Kiran, of Standard VII from the same school, participated in the 29th Sub Junior National Volley Ball Tournament organised by the West Bengal Volley Ball Association in Kolkata.
Sudharshana Rangam, Kapa Shreeti, Abishek of Standard XII, Susan Magi of Standard XI, Jones of Standard X, Vinodhini of Standard IX and Jerome of Standard VIII received scholarships and table tennis sports kits from the Sports Authority of India.
