Schools to be set up

Bidar: The Government will accord high priority to development of schools in villages bordering Maharashtra and Andhra. Kannada medium schools will be started in these villages even if the number of students is less than the statutory requirement.

The vacancies of teachers in these schools will be filled.

These assurances were given by the director of Public Instruction Mir Obedullah, during a recent meeting, according to a press release by Kannada Sahitya Parishat district president Jagannath Hebbale issued here.
