Nagercoil: Collector Dev Raj Dev launched a drive to prevent chikungunya in the district here on Saturday.

Municipal staff cleaned residential areas along the border with Kerala and coast.

People have been advised to use only boiled water. School students participated in the campaign. Municipal chairpersons of Nagercoil, Padmanabhapuram, Kuzhithurai and Colachel organised similar exercises elsewhere in the district.
