24 police officers transferred

Bangalore: In a major reshuffle, the Government has transferred 24 senior police officers, including Inspector-General of Police (Planning and Administration) B.G. Jyotiprakash Mirji and Commissioner of Youth Services K.C. Ramamurthy.

Mr. Mirji has been posted as Additional Commissioner of Police (Administration), Bangalore, and Mr. Ramamurthy has been posted as Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic and Security), Bangalore.

Raghavendra Auradkar and M.N. Reddy, who held the posts of Additional Commissioner of Police (Administration) and Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic and Security), Bangalore, have been transferred and posted as IGP (Northern Range), Belgaum, and Commissioner for Youth Services, Bangalore.

Police Commissioner

Director (Vigilance and Security), KSRTC, M. Bhaskar Rao has been transferred and posted as Police Commissioner of Mysore in place of Praveen Sood, who has been transferred as IGP (Headquarters I), Bangalore.

T. Jayaprakash, IGP (Central Range), Bangalore, has been posted as IGP (Planning and Modernisation), Bangalore. H.N. Sathyanarayana Rao, IGP (Western Range), Mangalore, has been transferred and posted as IGP (Eastern Range), Davangere.

Asit Mohan Prasad, back from Central deputation, has been posted as IGP (Western Range), Mangalore.

M.F. Pasha, IGP (Eastern Range), Davangere, has been transferred and posted as IGP (Training), Bangalore, in the existing vacancy. T.G. Doreswamy Naik, IGP (Northern Range), Belgaum, has been transferred and posted as IGP (Central Range), Bangalore.

Deputy IGP, KSRP

A.G. Ayachit, who was awaiting posting, has been posted as Deputy IGP, KSRP, Bangalore, in the existing vacancy.

M.A. Saleem, Deputy IGP, (Headquarters I), Bangalore, has been transferred and appointed Director (Vigilance and Security), KSRTC, Bangalore.

K.L. Sudheer, Deputy IGP, (CAR Headquarters), Bangalore, has been posted as Deputy IGP (Security), Bangalore, in the existing vacancy.

SPs transferred

B. Dayananda, Superintendent of Police, Dakshina Kannada district, Mangalore, has been transferred to Kolar district.

Seemant Kumar Singh, SP, Bijapur district, has been transferred to Mandya district and S. Murugan, SP, Mysore district, has been transferred to Gulbarga district.

Manish Kharbikar, SP, Gulbarga district, has been transferred to Bijapur district. Rama Subba, Deputy Commissioner of Police, (Traffic West Division), Bangalore, has been transferred and posted as SP, Mysore district.

B.S. Prakash, SP, Mandya district, has been transferred to Dharwad district.

K.V. Sridhar, SP, Gadag district, has been transferred to Kolar Gold Fields, Kolar, in the existing vacancy.

G. Ramesh, awaiting posting, has been posted as SP, Haveri district in the existing vacancy. D Roopa, SP, Anti-Dacoity Squad, Gulbarga, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commandant-General, (Home Guards) and ex-officio Deputy Director of Civil Defence, Bangalore, in the existing vacancy;

Dakshina Kannada SP

N. Sateesh Kumar, Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police, Udupi, has been posted as SP, Dakshina Kannada district, Mangalore.
