Fortified flour to be distributed

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Centre has cleared the distribution of fortified ‘atta’ (flour) in all 14 districts of the State. Food and Civil Supplies Minister C. Divakaran said here on Saturday that it would soon be available in all the districts at Rs.11 a kg. The fortified ‘atta’ will contain vitamin A and folic acid. The Minister said the price of even ordinary ‘atta’ was Rs. 20 a kg in the open market.
