Special officer for new district

Kolar: Senior IAS officer S. Dayashankar has been appointed special officer of designated new district of Chickaballapur.

The State Cabinet on Thursday approved formation of Chickaballapur and Ramanagaram districts. Mr Dayashanakr would look into the requirements of infrastructures of the new district.

Chickaballapur district would be carved out of Kolar district. — Staff Correspondent
