Hizb militant killed in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar: Two persons, including a Hizb-ul Mujahideen militant, were killed and another was arrested in Jammu and Kashmir, where security forces seized a huge cache of arms and explosives by busting five hideouts since Friday night.

The body of Hizb militant Liaqat Ali, who was reportedly killed by his associates, was recovered from the Dubjan Khund forest in Shopian district on Friday, a police spokesman said. The militant’s throat was slit.

Militants abducted and later killed one Abdul Hameed at Kuddhar village in Doda district late on Friday. — PTI
