Manmohan offers help

New Delhi: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Saturday offered Central assistance to Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Assam in the wake of the havoc caused by rain and floods there.

Dr. Singh spoke to the Chief Ministers of these States, and conveyed his condolences and sympathy to those affected.

Floods in Assam have affected more than two lakh people in 240 villages. — PTI
