No improvement in water levels

HYDERABAD: There is not much improvement in the water levels in the city reservoirs though there has been widespread rain in the last couple of days.

The following are the water levels in various reservoirs:

Osmansagar – 1766.35 feet as against Full Tank Level of 1,790 feet

Himayathsagar – 1,729 ft, (FTL 1,763.5 ft)

Singur – 1,700.21 ft, (FTL 1717.85 ft)

Manjira- 1,649.8 ft, (FTL 1,651.75 ft)

Akkampally (Krishna water)- 239.5 m, (FTL 244.2 m)

Of the total storage capacity at full tank level of 39.816 thousand million cubic feet (tmcft) in the above reservoirs, the capacity recorded as on Saturday was 11.831 tmcft.
