Hunt for loan recovery agent launched

HYDERABAD: The city police are on the lookout for the recovery agent, Raju, in connection with the death of Yadaiah, a loanee of ICICI bank. Raju is an employee of Elite Financial Services, an authorised firm to recover loans from defaulters.

Yadaiah, a Government employee and resident of Yapral, reportedly died after being confined by Raju and other recovery agents of a private bank two days ago for defaulting a loan amount of Rs.15,000. He secured loan from the bank a few months ago and defaulted. Since then, the agents have been demanding him to repay the amount, the police said.
