VIJAYAWADA: The Anti Goonda Squad (AGS) has arrested a private lodge owner and three of his employees along with two sex workers here on Sunday. The AGS cops raided the lodge located in Hanumanpeta on credible information that the lodge was being used for sex workers’ activities, according to AGS sub inspector of Police (SI) S.S.V.V. Nagaraju. Mr. Nagaraju said that the lodge owner Ch. Kondal Rao made hideouts so that the sex workers could hide themselves in the event of police raid. For the outsiders, the hideout looks like a storeroom and could be accessed from backside of the three to four rooms, he said adding that they laid a trap and apprehended two sex workers aged around 25 years belonging to Guntur and Visakhapatnam. Mr. Nagaraju said that lodge employees-V. Subba Rao, V. Prakasa Rao and K. Kondaiah- were also taken into the custody.
